Soaring through the trees on a zip line tour in nosara

One activity that should be on your to-do list is the Miss Sky Canopy Tour. The Miss Sky Canopy Tour in Nosara is one of the best. It's the longest zip-line in the world, spanning over 11km in total! You’ll fly like a superhero on 13 double-wired cables ranging from 300m to 750m long over mountain ridges and valleys, with dramatic views of rivers, waterfalls, and the Pacific Ocean coastline. The last cable crosses high above the beautiful Nosara River.

What to Wear

When zip lining, it's important to wear comfortable, breathable clothing. Long pants and closed-toe shoes are recommended for protection and stability during the tour. You want something that will be comfortable in the harness and has tight or zipped pockets to put your wallet and phone, as you don’t want them to drop or fall out.

What to Bring

Aside from your clothing and gear, it's important to bring plenty of water and sunscreen. A camera is also a must-have item so you can capture the memories of your zip lining adventure. If you have any medical conditions or allergies, bring any necessary medication with you. You will only be allowed to bring a small backpack or fanny pack on the tour that fits securely to your body.

Where to Meet

The zip line tour meets at the Nosara Beach hotel where you will get on a military vehicle to take you up the mountain. Transportation to the hotel is not included however, we can arrange a Tuk Tuk for you to get there. You will need to call your own Tuk Tuk to bring you back to Kismet when you are finished. It’s a good idea to arrive a few minutes early so you can get prepared for your zip lining adventure.

Duration

There are 2 options daily. one at 8am and the other at 12:30pm. The afternoon option ends at a beautiful waterfall during the wet season (May-November).

The duration of zip line tour varies, but most tours last between three and four hours. During this time, you'll get to soar through the trees and experience the beauty of Nosara's lush forests from a bird's-eye view. Whether you're flying solo or with a friend, the experience is sure to be unforgettable. I recommend trying at least one run upside down!
