Terms & Conditions
MEDICAL CONDITIONS + SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
The Guest must notify Kismet Collective by writing, or on your registration form, if you have any medical conditions, pregnancy, disability or any other mental and or physical condensation which may affect fitness to travel and/or participate in retreat activities. It is the Guest's responsibility to check prior to booking if the retreat is not suitable due to Guest age, mobility, disability, pregnancy or physical or mental condition. Kismet Collective is not required to provide any special facilities unless it has agreed to do so in writing. Kismet Collective will do its best to meet Guests special requirements including dietary, but such requests do not form part of the Agreement and therefore Kismet Collective in not liable for not providing these requests.
TRAVEL + HELATH INSURANCE
We strongly recommend that all guests purchase comprehensive international travel insurance before traveling to Costa Rica. A quality policy can provide coverage for unexpected medical expenses, emergency medical evacuation, trip cancellation or interruption, travel delays, and lost baggage.
Popular providers include Allianz Travel Insurance, Seven Corners, IMG, WorldTrips, Travel Insured International, or you can compare multiple plans through Squaremouth. Please review your policy carefully to ensure it provides adequate medical coverage and includes any activities you plan to participate in during your stay.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
All international guests are responsible for ensuring they have a valid passport that meets the entry requirements for Costa Rica. We strongly recommend that your passport be valid for at least six (6) months beyond your travel dates, as some airlines may require this even if Costa Rican immigration does not. Please verify the requirements that apply to your nationality before traveling.
Guests are also responsible for obtaining any required visas or travel documents prior to departure.
EXCURSIONS AND INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS
Excursions, shuttle services, and additional add ons can be arrange with local operators and/or subcontractors. Liability of the Kismet Collective and Casas Kismet will not extend to that of any supplier.
SAFETY
We take your safety and well-being very seriously, which is why we partner with licensed companies and trained professionals for our retreats. It is ultimately the Guests responsibility for their own safety which is why we ask all retreat participants to sign a liability waiver.
PHOTOGRAPHY
In the course or participation with a retreat at Casas Kismet, photos or video may be taken by participants or guides. These images may be used in any Casas Kismet materials, website, Facebook, etc., unless Guests specifically request to the photographer or in writing to Casas Kismet Boutique Retreats, to not use any material in which your image is depicted. Otherwise, permission is granted to Casas Kismet perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable license to use such images for publicity and promotional purposes.
LIABILITY AND ACCEPTANCE OF RISKS
The Kismet Collective and Casas Kismet are not responsible for any improper or non-performance of any services forming part of the Agreement which are wholly attributable to the fault of the Guest, the unforeseeable or unavoidable act or omission of a third party unconnected with provision of any services to be provided under the Agreement.
The Guest Member hereby assume all risks and does hereby release Kismet Collective and Casas Kismet from any damages or injuries or death resulting from inherent risks. At the time of payment, the Client is required to sign the RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS, ASSUMPTIONS OF RISKS AND INDEMNITY OF AGREEMENT.
REGISTRATION CONDITIONS
When a guest completes and submits the Retreat Booking Form, they agree to accept all these conditions and membership, and when the booking is accepted, Kismet Collective agrees to carry out the obligations as defined therein.
UPDATING OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Casas Kismet Boutique Retreats reserves the right to update and/or alter these terms and conditions at any time, and is the Client’s responsibility to be familiar with them. The latest terms and conditions may be found on Casas Kismet website.
