Experience the magic of a Catamaran Tour in Nosara

Sky and Sand Catamaran was designed specifically to do what it does: give you the chance to enjoy a sunset in the middle of the ocean, go in search of dolphins, whales and turtles, anchor in the best snorkeling spots, sip a cocktail and party with friends. This is, for us, the authentic "Pura Vida" style and we are ready to share it with you in full respect for the environment!

What to Wear on Catamaran Tour

When setting sail on a Catamaran tour, it's essential to dress for both comfort and sun protection. Here's what we recommend:

  • Swimsuits: Bring a swimsuit for swimming and snorkeling during the trip.
  • Sun protection: A long-sleeve rash guard or a light cover-up can help protect you from the sun's rays. Don't forget your wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses!
  • Footwear: Choose water-friendly shoes or sandals, as you may need to get in and out of the water during the tour.
  • Lightweight, quick-dry clothing: Choose breathable, quick-drying clothes that won't weigh you down if they get wet.

Where to Meet for Your Adventure

Catamaran tours in Nosara typically depart from Playa Garza. Transportation to the tour is not included in the cost. You will need a Tuk Tuk or van from Kismet depending on the number of people in your group. When you arrive on the beach in Garza you will need to tell water taxi the name of the boat or captain. Ensure you arrive at least 15-20 minutes before the scheduled departure time to check-in and receive any necessary instructions from the crew.

What to Bring

Here's a list of essentials to bring on your Catamaran tour:

  • Sunscreen: Choose a reef-safe, water-resistant sunscreen with at least SPF 30 to protect your skin and the marine environment.
  • Towels: Pack a lightweight, quick-drying towel for drying off after swimming or snorkeling.
  • Snacks and beverages: Most tours provide light refreshments, but it's a good idea to bring extra snacks and water, especially if you have dietary restrictions.
  • Underwater camera: Capture the beauty of Nosara's underwater world with a waterproof camera or smartphone case.
  • Dry bag: Keep your belongings safe and dry in a waterproof bag or pouch.
  • Seasickness remedies: If you're prone to seasickness, bring motion sickness medication or natural remedies like ginger or acupressure bands.
  • Cash: Bring some cash for any additional expenses, such as souvenirs, gratuities, or extra activities offered during the tour.
